Hello

So thats me aged 2, sat on the buffer beam of LMS Black 5 – 45101, in Drapers’ Hull scrap yard, thanks to granddad who was friends with Mr Draper. I think it all began there really and I’ve had a love of all things steam ever since.

Granddad’s, Triang model railway was one of my favourite toys and later my own Hornby train set too. I had a long break from model railways, occasionally making  odd pieces for friends. But about two years ago I got back into the hobby and wanted to build my own model of Withernsea station.

The locos I wanted weren’t available so in a moment of madness I decided —”If it doesn’t exist, I’ll just make it!” So thats were I’m at today

It’s a big step! Bringing your own range of RTR locos or rolling stock to market is no small feat, but there’s definitely been a growing appetite for these locos, it’s a real passion of mine.

Hopefully If I get enough support these models will be leave the N Gauge steam works, and be on their way to other railways.

When I’m not designing loco’s I volunteer at the Yorkshire Wolds Railway.

By the way Luckly, 45101, survived thanks to Mr Draper and today she’s is 5305. The Locomotive Association cares for this engine, which is now based at Loughborough.
